Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine is a system of health care which utilizes both traditional and modern research based medicines and therapies for healing. The focus is placed on treating the root causes of illness for each individual. Diagnosis is achieved by taking a thorough case history, a cased based physical exam, and reviewing standard medical lab tests. An individualized health care plan is formulated once sufficient information has been collected.

Dr. Rachel Bell received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to this, she completed her undergraduate studies at Trinity Western University where she received a Bachelor of Kinesiology with a Minor in Biology. Dr. Bell’s medical training also includes time spent in Nicaragua treating various conditions at community clinics in addition to working at a non-profit organization in Vancouver treating patients with chronic disease and terminal illness.

Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy is an injection treatment for chronic pain from injuries to tendons, ligaments and joint structures. Long term injuries, such as those from motor vehicle accidents and sports injuries are often successfully treated by prolotherapy.
