If the natural therapy or medicine that you are using helps, but the problem returns immediately upon stopping the use of that therapy or medicine than chances are you are palliating but not curing the problem. The goal is not to take treatments or natural medicines for the rest of your life but to effectively resolve the source of the problem.
For example, if someone is having headaches, the cause may be structural – the neck may be slightly out of position or have an injury, the cause may be biochemical – the person may be eating a food or chemical that they are allergic to or maybe there a deficiency of a nutrient like magnesium, the cause may be psychological – such as stress headaches, the cause may also be toxic – certain microorganisms in the body such as candida produce toxic byproducts and other exposures such as many mercury fillings or high consumption of fish and seafood can gradually build up to overwhelm the body’s detox pathways.
