Sascha Mehrassa completed the 3000 hour massage therapy program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She has had the opportunity to practice massage in both clinic and spa settings. She has experience massaging women with high-risk pregnancies, seniors with central nervous system disorders, patients recovering from cancer, and patients with HIV/AIDS. Sascha has also volunteered as a massage therapist with outreach programs assisting drug dependant mothers and burn victims.
After practicing as a massage therapist for a few years doing general massage, she chose to focus her practice on craniosacral therapy. She has been practicing craniosacral therapy since 2006. This gentle touch therapy can detect restrictions and imbalances within the craniosacral system. These restrictions can affect the central nervous system and the overall health of a person.
Sascha developed a firm belief in the promotion of optimal patient care, assisting people in improving their quality of life. Working with Dr. Boutet and the Selkirk team complements her belief that a holistic approach is vital to a patient’s well being.
